Paul Hopwood is a British tenor based in South London.

Paul was a late-starter ino the world of opera, having first trained and practised as an English and Drama teacher. After re-training at the London Guildhall, and havng started his career in the Glyndebourne chorus, he has now established himself as a versatile singer/actor, as happy in mainstream lyric repertoire as in parts requiring more 'character'. He has also shown himself to be able to perform challenging contemporary works. He has sung roles for companies including Glyndebourne, ENO and the Royal Opera.

Paul also enjoys a successful career on the concert platform, and has performed as soloist in oratorios by composers from Bach to Verdi, in venues including the Royal Albert Hall and the London Barbican.
