Paul Hopwood is a British tenor based in South London.

Paul was a late-starter ino the world of opera, having first trained and practised as an English and Drama teacher. After re-training at the London Guildhall, he started his career in the Glyndebourne chorus, and has now established himself as a versatile singer/actor, as happy in mainstream lyric repertoire as in parts requiring more 'character'. He has sung roles for companies including Glyndebourne, ENO and the Royal Opera.

Paul also enjoys a successful career on the concert platform, and has performed as soloist in oratorios by composers from Bach to Verdi, in venues including the Royal Albert Hall and the London Barbican.
